I'm an International Medical Graduate with a Master's degree in Public Health Sciences — and a passionate believer that everyone deserves to know how to save a life.

I founded On The Pulse because I saw a gap: most CPR classes were rushed, impersonal, and left people uncertain. I keep my groups small so every student gets real hands-on practice and leaves genuinely confident.

No experience needed at all — our courses are designed for everyday people with zero medical training. About 70% of class time is hands-on practice, so you learn by doing, not just listening.
You'll receive an official American Red Cross electronic certificate by email within 24 hours of completing the course. It's valid for 2 years and accepted by most employers, daycares, schools, and regulatory bodies in California.
Yes! We accept corporate payments via check, ACH transfer, or invoice. We can provide documentation for your HR or accounting team. Contact us for a formal quote and we'll handle the rest.
Yes — we come to you! We serve San Jose, Campbell, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, and the greater South Bay area. All equipment (mannequins, AED trainers) is brought to your location. You just need a room large enough for the group.
CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is for cardiac and breathing emergencies. First Aid covers a broader range of situations: burns, cuts, choking, allergic reactions, strokes, and more. Many courses combine both — check our Courses page to find the right fit.
Up to 12 people per session per American Red Cross guidelines (max 3 students per mannequin, and we have 4 adult + 4 infant mannequins + 4 AED trainers). For larger teams, we schedule multiple sessions — often on the same day.
Yes! Maria is fluent in Russian and can conduct the entire course in Russian or switch between English and Russian as needed. This is especially popular with Russian-speaking teams at tech companies and medical practices in the Bay Area.
Blended Learning means you complete the theory portion online at your own pace (2–3 hours through the Red Cross platform), then attend a shorter in-person skills session (1.5–2 hours) for hands-on practice and certification. Great for busy professionals.
